Petrofac wins $200m Kuwait EPC gig

The $200 million contract will see Petrofac construct three new substation buildings as well as lay about 900 kilometres of buried cable to connect the site’s substations to the distribution network.

Petrofac said the facilities would be used to provide “a more robust” power supply to support the development of onshore oilfields in north Kuwait.

Work on the project is expected to be completed within 24 months.
