The company will carry out gas market and economic analysis,
as well as conceptual engineering for pipelines and liquefied natural gas
terminals and assessment of risk and environmental issues under five-month
study that was secured in an international tender and is due for completion in
November.

The AGRI Interconnector pipeline would carry Azeri and other
Caspian gas supplies from Azerbaijan to Romania, Hungary and other central
European gas markets via new liquefaction and regasification terminals to be
built on the Black Sea coasts of Georgia and Romania.

The national oil companies of the four participant countries
in the project – Socar of Azerbaijan, Romania’s Romgaz, Georgian Oil & Gas
Corporation and Hungarian Electricity – are stakeholders in the AGRI LNG
consortium.
