KBR’s Canadian subsidiary, KBR Wabi, will head the expansion project that aims to increase the facility’s existing capacity to 100 million cubic feet per day.

“This contract represents an opportunity for KBR to further expand its business in the rapidly increasing shale gas market in British Columbia,” said Karl Roberts, senior vice president of KBR Canada.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

KBR recently delivered piperack fabrication and module assembly for the first phase of the Dawson Creek plant.
